Your day begins at Largs Yacht Haven on the Firth of Clyde. You'll meet you skipper who will introduce you to your yacht and make sure that understand the plan for the day. We'll then get you kitted out with appropriate clothing and safety gear, ready for your adventure to commence.
A typical day will be spent exploring the scenery, bays and wildlife of the inner Clyde. Favourite destinations include the Kyles of Bute, Tarbert, Portavadie, the Isle of Arran and Loch Long. Whichever way the wind blows, we promise that we will introduce you to the full delights of sailing, scenery and wildlife in our area.
When you're feeling hungry, you can moor up in a picturesque harbour or anchor in a secluded bay and enjoy a tasty lunch which will be served on board. Dig into mouthwateringly good locally sourced seafood, freshly prepared wraps and sandwiches, homemade cakes and tray bakes and a selection of fruit. There will also be plenty of tea, coffee, bottled water and soft drinks provided during your trip. If you would like us to provide anything special, please just let us know and we will do our best to help you to create your perfect day out.
On board your yacht, the wide decks and vast cockpit area ensure that there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views and spot some of our amazing wildlife and scenery on your journey. In the cockpit, the large folding table is great for lunch al fresco if the weather permits. Central heating below-decks ensures that you will always feel cosy and at home whilst on board. The galley and main saloon area is spacious with the layout perfectly thought out for entertaining, relaxing or socialising. The leather upholstery and mahogany finish of the interior add an extra touch of class.
Arriving back at Largs Yacht Haven after a full day of sailing and adventures, you'll be ready to enjoy a well-earned post-sailing refreshment at Scott's bar and restaurant.
