Let Tramontane carry you away on your sailing adventure. This stunning 40-foot Hanse yacht is the perfect all-round cruising yacht; ideal for a short getaway or for longer passage cruising.
New for 2022, Tramontane is boasting a full new set of sails to boost her performance further.
Below decks, Tramontane is very roomy with lots of ports and hatches which help to make the interior very light, airy and pleasant. As with all Hanse’s the interior joinery is built for each individual hull and the resulting quality of finish is beautiful. The accommodation on Tramontane provides berths for 8 consisting of three large double cabins, and two berths in the large saloon. The spacious galley is fully equipped for cooking on your cruise and boasts a cooker with two burners and oven. Tramontane also offers a generous two door fridge and double sinks in the galley area. The saloon is spacious and beautifully fitted out in Mahogany and Maple. Entertainment is provided by an MP3 compatible radio CD player.
The two heads compartments each have running hot and cold water and a shower. The aft heads also has plenty of space for hanging waterproofs and even an outlet from the central heating for drying them should they chance to get wet!
On deck, all sail controls are led back to the cockpit so sail setting and reefing can be done in safety and under the shelter of the sprayhood. Tramontane’s sail wardrobe consists of a fully battened main with lazy jacks for easy reefing and stowing, a roller furling jib and storm jib.The self-tacking jib is easy to operate and makes changing direction incredibly simple. On the foredeck the hard work is also taken out of anchoring by the two-way electric windlass. All of this makes Tramontane ideal for anyone who is sailing with a smaller crew. She is also a great boat for a holiday with family or a larger group of friends.
A full range of sailing instruments, autohelm and chart plotter are mounted on the consol immediately in front of the wheel. There is plenty of space for a full crew of eight in the cockpit and there is a folding cockpit table making for the perfect social gathering point. The spacious transom makes boarding from the dinghy or pontoon a breeze. A tender with outboard motor and oars is provided to make getting ashore as easy as possible. This Hanse 400 even has a bathing ladder if you are brave enough to go for a dip!
