Excellent couple of days ‘mid-week’ sailing around the Clyde.
Just a quick note of appreciation after our recent trip with ‘Ocean Star’ We had an excellent couple of days ‘mid-week’ sailing around the Clyde on her at the end of last month. It is the first time I have chartered from you and found it to be an easy & pleasant experience from booking with you till handing the boat back over. Coming straight off another charter that afternoon, the boat was well prepared , obviously well maintained, clean & tidy, with the water tanks filled and fuelled for us, ‘ready to go’ soon after we arrived. Muir showed us everything we needed to know before we set off. (Including a comprehensive course on the Nav Centre.) Although having chartered before several times in various places, I had never sailed a Bavaria 30 before and found the boat to be easy to handle, even in the stronger breezes & reefed in, she sailed well. The accommodation was more than spacious & comfortable enough for two and the galley well enough equipped to deal with some of our ‘adventurous cooking’ aboard. All in all ‘Ocean Star’ was perfect for us. Thank you and your staff for their part in making our precious few days away memorable. We definitely will be chartering from you again and look forward to our next trip on the Clyde.
A Great Sailing Holiday
Thank you so much for organising such a good boat and good skipper for us. We had a great holiday and were very comfortable despite a lot of rain. I learned a lot from Millen and we all enjoyed ourselves very much.
